The BCuP-5 copper-phosphorus-silver alloy provides excellent flow, good joint penetration and strong, reliable brazed connections. It is suitable for refrigeration servicing, copper pipe replacement, air-conditioning installation and cold-storage maintenance.

Application information

BCuP-5 alloy is self-fluxing when joining clean copper to copper. A suitable brazing flux is normally required when joining copper to brass or bronze.

For the best results, ensure all joint surfaces are clean, properly fitted and free from oil, oxides and contamination before brazing.
